Francisca Van Dunem received today the Council of Europe''s Deputy Secretary General for a working meeting.

The Minister of Justice, Francisca Van Dunem, chairs the opening of the Conference of Directors of European Judicial Training Schools and Institutions, today, November 18, at 14h00, at Centro Cultural de Belém.

Francisca Van Dunem received today Vera Jourová, Vice President of the European Commission, at her request, to deal with matters of common interest, taking advantage of her stay in Lisbon to participate in the Web Summit.

The European Union must support victims of hate crime and hate speech, but also ensure a response through criminal law, declared the Minister of Justice, stressing that Portugal will support an initiative by the European executive in this regard.

The Minister of Justice participates in the Conference organised by the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

This Tuesday, 12 October, the Justice Ministerial Forum 2021 takes place, with the participation of the Minister of Justice.

The Minister of Justice of Slovenia, Marjan Dikaučič, yesterday chaired the meeting of Justice Ministers of the European Union, held in Luxembourg. Portugal was represented at this meeting by the Deputy Secretary of State for Justice, Mário Belo Morgado.
